Our after-school program for special needs children offers recreation, friendship & fun. It's an afternoon of play in a safe & supportive environment.
But the Neshamaleh program serves another purpose as well — while the kids are out of the house, their parents get several hours break from the everyday stress of raising their special needs child.
To be clear, special needs children require constant supervision to keep them out of trouble, even in the safety of their home. The stress on the parents is debilitating over time.
But after the Neshamaleh playgroup, the kids return home happy & content. Family life resumes, with their parents rested and ready to receive them.

Donation Opportunities
Neshamaleh’s after-school program offers a wide range of activities, including arts & crafts, group projects, physical exercise, and field trips. Our facility is well maintained, and we provide nutritious meals & snacks. Since most of the families we help do not have cars, we provide supervised transportation to our facility.
